Mitigating the Current Emerging Threat of COVID-19 Adapt and Adjust.

as of 02.12.2021 fast forward now to today 07/03/2021

Vaccinations are now readily available for those that seek them from their primary care providers.

In April and May, of 2021 I was vaccinated with two doses of Modena and tolerated the vaccine after being instructed

to drink lots of fluids and take some rest; currently COVID-19 poses a serious health related concern.

For guidance the CDC and ASHRAE both have a great deal of credible information.

CSE Magazine  is one I read often and like their stories and happened onto this story earlier today.

some of these articles track how building systems will be changing in the future.

Consulting - Specifying Engineer | Effective COVID-19 mitigation for HVAC systems (csemag.com)

I decided awhile ago I would rather wear a face mask than catch COVID-19; that is a tradeoff worth consideration given the fact that the virus is still costing lives due to COVID-19 infection transmission ongoing. My understanding is those with comorbidities, are at greatest risk which would make sense if  an individuals immune system were some way compromised.  I am not a medical professional and cannot offer medical advice. From what I know as relates to HVAC, I would strongly suggest the wearing of  face masks as they serve the function of pre-filtering air that is inhaled into the lungs.  Face masks are relatively low cost and provide some level of  preventative proactive protection.  The wearing of  them at the very  least provides a first line of defense again COVID-19 transmission.
